Job summary

The HOPE Center, part of Universal Health Services in Fallon, NV, seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate, evaluate, and document psychiatric nursing care. You will support crisis interventions and collaborate on interdisciplinary treatment plans for each patient’s needs.

Required: RN licensure (CA/State-appropriate), graduation from an accredited nursing program, CPR, and 1 year of psychiatric experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Full-time night shift (NOC).

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (RN)
• 1 year minimum psychiatric health experience; 3 years preferred
• CPR certification and Handle with Care (HWC) training within 30 days
• Medication administration skills and nursing competencies checklist

Responsibilities

• Document patient information and nursing care.
• Employ communication, interviewing, problem solving, and crisis intervention in psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary treatment plans with measurable goals and individualized actions.
