This role requires BLS and PALS, extensive chemotherapy administration, ports care, central line management, and pediatric dosages. Per diem offers freedom and flexibility to fit your schedule. We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: Pediatric Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurse in Newark, NJ.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: BLS, PALS
• Required Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Administration of chemotherapy, Anti-Seizure Medications, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Fractures, Infection Prevention, Insulin administration, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Pediatric MedSurg, Pediatric oncology, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, Insertion and management of indwelling urinary catheter, Renal failure, Seizure disorders, Starting and maintaining IVs, TPN/Lipids, Wound assessment/care
