Job summary

WESTERVILLE is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and lead rehabilitation services. You will collaborate with physicians and families to ensure progress and discharge planning, while supervising PT assistants and maintaining documentation per regulatory standards.

The role requires a PT license, and a bachelor’s degree is expected with a preference for masters/doctorate and proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• State licensure to practice Physical Therapy.
• Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• CPR certification may be required.
• Proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine physical therapy needs, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in resident care and related activities.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Contribute to quality assurance, performance improvement initiatives, and rehabilitation program development.
