Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Becks Woods Dr in Bear, DE. The phlebotomist will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and billing support.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service, maintaining logs, and potentially traveling to additional sites. A phlebotomy certification or equivalent training is required, with overtime flexibility and growth opportunities within Labcorp’s patient service network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency is required or preferred
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
