Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties associated with processing prescriptions. Per Diem Pharmacists are temporary and work intermittently across Texas locations.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications, advising customers, ensuring compliance with state boards, and immunizations where permitted. Travel up to 50% to sites in Tyler, Nacogdoches, Longview, and beyond is required.

Qualifications

• Current pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
• Travel up to 50%.
