Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Massachusetts is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to join our on-site pharmacy team. You will process prescriptions, provide medication information to customers, and support high-quality patient care in a community setting.

Responsibilities include immunization administration where allowed, adhering to state laws, and delivering excellent customer service. Positions are intermittent/temporary with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Massachusetts
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
