Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties related to prescription processing. Per Diem Pharmacists are temporary and work intermittently across Louisiana.

Responsibilities include dispensing prescribed medications, advising customers on usage, and maintaining high service standards while complying with state pharmacy laws. Immunizations may be administered where allowed by state boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in state of Louisiana.
• Experience accurately dispensing medications.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
