Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Per Diem PET/CT Technologist in Houston to perform PET/CT and diagnostic CT procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure quality control under department policies.

The role requires NM program graduate status, NMTCB/ARRT certification, venipuncture, and strong communication. You will work with EMR/RIS/PACS and contribute to patient safety and care quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited program.
• Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine program.
• Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) MRT-General Certificate.
• Ability to use computer keyboard and grasp digital image acquisition.
• Venipuncture and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Imaging PET/CT and diagnostic CT exams per department protocols.
• Administer radioactive materials and contrast as needed with safety.
• Perform QC and calibration of imaging equipment and maintain sterile technique.
• Ensure patient safety and effective communication with staff and patients.
• Operate EMR, RIS, and PACS for documentation and image storage.
