Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Per Diem PET/CT Technologist in Houston. You will perform PET/CT and diagnostic CT exams, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure quality control in a fast-paced nuclear medicine department.

Requirements include NM education (Associate's in Nuclear Medicine), NMTCB/ARRT(N), venipuncture skills, and strong communication. Salary ranges from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; completion of accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification (MRT-General/BLS) and relevant licensure.

Responsibilities

• Imaging PET/CT and diagnostic CT exams per department protocols.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast media as required.
• Perform quality control on PET CT and Nuclear Medicine instrumentation; ensure radiation safety.
• Document examinations in EMR/RIS and maintain patient care standards.
