Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse in California for the Ambulatory Surgery department. You will provide direct patient care from pediatrics to geriatrics and collaborate with surgeons and the anesthesiologist to support perioperative outcomes.

Responsibilities include maintaining surgical equipment, managing supplies, and ensuring the OR meets patient and team needs. Requires CA RN license and BLS; ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• New graduate with BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have worked as a surgical tech at a Tenet Healthcare facility within the last year.
• Recent nursing graduate; Must not have been through a previous New Grad Residency Program; Must have less than 6 months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patients.
• Communicates and collaborates with surgeon(s) and the anesthesiologist regarding the patient's condition.
• Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory.
• Obtains supplies for individual cases, ensures that operating room equipment is available and functioning.
• Ensures all patient and surgical team needs are met.
