RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric unit on evenings in Livingston, NJ. The RN role emphasizes patient assessments, safe medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care outcomes.

The position requires NJ RN license, BLS, and a BSN is preferred; PALS within six months is expected. 3–12.5 hour night shifts, 37.5 hours weekly, with biweekly weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school or university with active New Jersey RN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing strongly preferred.
• PALS certificate within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes to intervene early.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely, coordinated decisions.
• Educate patients and families to promote informed care and next steps.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to support teamwork and transitions of care.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through education and ladder opportunities.
