First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Take control of your schedule with flexible shifts from 7a-7p and 7p-7a, plus per diem pay with daily and weekly payment options.

As a PCU RN, you will provide high-quality care in acute-care hospital settings, document patient conditions, monitor cardiac rhythms, and collaborate with care teams. Ready to pick up shifts that fit your life?

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS current.
• AHA ACLS current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
