First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts run 7a-7p and 7p-7a, allowing you to choose rounds that fit your life.

Per diem pay options include daily and weekly pay, with the flexibility to build a fuller schedule. Competitive per diem pay in the $56.25–$57.25/hour range is available, with locally based opportunities and a responsive staffing team.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license and eligibility
• 2 years PCU nursing within last 4 years
• Current BLS and ACLS
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and status changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans

• Active
• Virginia RN LicenseMinimum
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 yearsCurrent
• AHA BLS Current
