First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Choose 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts to fit your life and build a fuller schedule if desired.

As a PCU RN you will provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital environments, assess and monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia.
• 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS Current; AHA ACLS Current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption may be required.

Responsabilités

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in PCU.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.

• Active
• Virginia RN LicenseMinimum
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 yearsCurrent
