Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center is seeking a per diem Recovery Room Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU unit. You will provide direct patient care across infant to geriatric populations, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure patient readiness and safety in the operating room environment.

The role includes assisting with equipment and pain management inventory, obtaining supplies, and supporting the surgical team during procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in state of Nevada.
• Two years minimum of nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates supportive bedside report using IMAP & SBAR (in partnership with patient inside room).
• Performs head-to-toe pre-procedure assessment on all patients and reassesses post procedure as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development over the life span to provide age-appropriate care.
