Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a Recovery Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time PACU unit. You will provide direct patient care across the life span in the surgical environment, communicating with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and assisting with equipment and pain management inventory.

The role emphasizes age-appropriate care, readiness of the OR, and collaborative support for the surgical team throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in state of Nevada.
• Two (2) years minimum of nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates bedside report using IMAP & SBAR with patient present.
• Performs head-to-toe pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure reassessment.
• Provides age-appropriate care across the life span and supports the surgical team during procedures.
