Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in Ambulatory Surgery, Outpatient Surgery, or OR nursing.
• Massachusetts nursing license in good standing.
• BLS required; ACLS within 1 year of hire; PALS preferred or obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care using the nursing process in the peri-operative setting.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary caregivers to coordinate patient care.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and informed family communication throughout surgery.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining OR equipment and supplies.
• Document care accurately according to policies and procedures.
