Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required in NH.
• 1 year of operating room experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Proficiency in handling surgical instruments and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain the surgical suite including OR and instruments.
• Maintain sterile environment and report any breaks in aseptic technique.
• Assist surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during procedures.
• Apply knowledge of equipment to maintain best practice surgical protocols.
• Follow nursing process to provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgeries.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assist in patient care throughout perioperative period.
• Other duties as assigned.
