BrightStar Care Karing Hent, Inc. in Apple Valley, MN is seeking professional and compassionate Part-Time Home Health Aides to join our one-on-one caregiving team.

You will provide personal cares, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship in clients' homes, with day, evening, and weekend hours available. Join a Joint Commission Accredited, award-winning agency that values flexible scheduling, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in home health, assisted living, or similar caregiving settings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Negative TB test or cleared Chest-Xray.
• Available to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
• Assist with daily activities: meals, light housekeeping, errands.
• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Transport clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
• Monitor health changes and communicate with RN Case Manager.
• Be a proactive member of the care coordination team.

We are seeking professional and compassionate Part-Time Home Health Aides to join our team. In this one-on-one caregiving role, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in the comfort of their own homes, assisting with personal cares, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. With Day shift, Pm and weekends hours available create a schedule that works for you!

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements:

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
