Job summary

Assured Home Health, a part of LHC Group and a member of the UnitedHealth Group family, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for per diem home health work in Washington. You will provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, under the supervision of a licensed OT, and contribute to restoring patients’ physical abilities.

Responsibilities include following the plan of care, documenting patient progress, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold WA OT license.
• Must be certified and in good standing with NBCOT: WA.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes under supervision.
• Follow plan of care and supervising OT instructions.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques within scope.
• Function in diverse home environments with respect to all patients.
