Poway Healthcare Center is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist. The role involves evaluating patients within 24 hours of referral, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy per physician orders. The OT will supervise COTA and aides, document in medical records, and train staff for discharge planning.

Proficiency with Casamba and Point Click Care is preferred. State licensure in Occupational Therapy is required, with continued education to maintain licensure and professionalism

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Masters or Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Experience with Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
• Strong communication with managers, coworkers and families.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral.
• Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans.
• Treat patients per physician plan.
• Supervise OT Assistants and support staff.
• Communicate progress with supervisor and health team.
• Record evaluations and treatment notes in medical records.
• Instruct families and nursing staff for discharge preparation.
• Participate in discharge planning and care conferences.
