Job summary

Redmont Health and Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in the facility in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. Per Diem/PRN status.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in AL is required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screenings to determine the best intervention for each patient.
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans with goals.
• Communicate evaluation findings and plans to residents, families, and team.
• Establish resident therapy schedules with team cooperation.
• Perform therapy according to plans and ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Carry out additional duties to effectively treat patients.
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure documentation and treatments meet reimbursement practices.

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy

Active Occupational Therapy license in AL
