Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support professional nursing staff by performing vital sign measurements, assisting patients with hygiene and elimination, and maintaining a clean, safe unit environment. You will also stock supplies, operate equipment as directed, and perform routine clerical tasks to ensure smooth patient care operations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in a therapeutic way.
• Demonstrates patient care experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Current BLS certification upon hire (issued by the AHA).
