VillageMD is seeking a per diem Radiology Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support diagnostic imaging across our network. You will prepare and inject radiopharmaceuticals and perform nuclear medicine studies in collaboration with radiologists.

Requirements include ARRT and CNMT, BLS, and the ability to work in a regulated NRC environment with strong safety, documentation, and patient care. Per diem duties require flexibility and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required.
ARRT and CNMT certifications required.
BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

Prepare and inject radiopharmaceuticals per NRC regulations and department policies.
Measure concentrations of radioactive isotope for radiologists to diagnose patients.
Perform cardiac nuclear studies including stress MUGA, Thallium and non-gated Technetium studies.
Assist physician with procedures as required.
Provide reports for physician review within specified time frame.
Program computer for each procedure and document test rationale.
Maintain aseptic techniques and safety in handling radiopharmaceuticals.
Manage nuclear schedule for patient flow and efficiency.
Perform QA, calibration, and flood analysis per guidelines.
Troubleshoot minor problems and report others to supervisors.
Acquire clear images and gate studies as required.
Comply with radiation standards and regulatory requirements.
Log receipt and disposal of radioactive materials according to industry standards.
Update Nuclear Policies and Procedures to reflect current practices.
Prepare preliminary reports for Cardiologist and archive images.
