Job summary

VillageMD seeks a detail-oriented Nuclear Medical Technician to support radioligand therapy in oncology patients. You will prepare radioligands, administer therapy under physician direction, and monitor patients while ensuring safety standards.

Responsibilities include patient education, documenting doses, operating imaging/therapy equipment, and collaborating with oncology and radiology teams in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Education: degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
• Certification: CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required.
• State licensure as required.
• Experience in therapeutic nuclear medicine or radioligand therapy preferred.
• Proficiency with radiopharmaceutical handling and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and calibrate radioligands per guidelines and regs.
• Administer radioligand therapy under physician direction.
• Identify and educate patients before RLT procedures.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide supportive care.
• Follow ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Document procedures, doses and outcomes in records.
