Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Carmel, IN seeks a per diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist. You will perform imaging procedures, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and maintain patient records in RIS.

Shifts run 8:30 am–4:30 pm, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and compliant operation with NRC and HIPAA standards. The role requires NMTCB certification, AMA-approved radiography education, and state licensure as applicable, along with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• AMA approved radiography program completion required.
• NMTCB certification in good standing required.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in appropriate state if applicable.
• CPR certification current.
• Sufficient training to competently perform Nuclear Medicine procedures independently.
• Imaging specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients before exams using two identifiers.
• Explain and prepare patients for Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures.
• Perform routine and advanced Nuclear Medicine imaging with appropriate supervision.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals per NRC regulations.
• Maintain safe work environment and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain RIS patient records with accuracy.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
