Prime Healthcare at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, TX seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (per diem). The role performs diagnostic imaging procedures and therapeutic treatments using radioactive materials.

Competenze

• Current state nuclear medicine license or ARRT/NMTCB certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year acute radiology experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience as nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
• Knowledge of radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Graduate of ARRT-accredited program.
• Current BCLS (AHA) required.
• Proficient computer skills.

Mansioni

• Manage complex patient cases and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create imaging plans.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture real-time images and adjust settings for best quality.
• Use handheld transducers and optimize imaging parameters for clear views.
• Interpret ultrasound images and communicate findings to radiologists or physicians.
• May perform Doppler studies to assess blood flow and detect abnormalities.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques and ultrasound-guided procedures as needed.
• Perform diverse ultrasound exams across organ systems.
