Job summary

Midstate Radiology Associates is seeking a Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Tech Aide at MidState Medical Center in Meriden. May assist various modalities in radiology under direct supervision and follow established policies and procedures.

The position supports patient care with an emphasis on safety and accuracy, including data entry in the RIS and collaboration with staff. Weekend/holiday rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• At least one year’s experience in a radiology setting.
• Enrollment in the Nuclear Medicine Program.

Responsibilities

• Practices radiation safety and adheres to radiation safety standards.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and maintain tidy work areas.
• Accurately inputs data in the RIS to capture charges and information.
• Works as a team member within the department and with other units.
