Job summary

Midstate Radiology Associates is seeking a Full-Time MRI Tech Aide at MidState Medical Center in Meriden, CT. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.30 per hour, commensurate with experience.

The role supports staff technologists, may assist in any radiology modality, and follows department, hospital, and regulatory policies. A dedicated team focuses on patient safety, accuracy, and efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• At least one year’s experience in a radiology setting.

Responsibilities

• Practices radiation safety through appropriate use of radiation protection devices and adheres to radiation safety standards.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and area after each use; maintain an orderly work area.
• Meet the needs of patients with regard to age, condition or special requirements.
• Accurately inputs data in the RIS by tracking actual procedures to capture charges and information.
• Possess computer skills for reports and correspondence.
• Work effectively as part of a team to provide quality service.
