Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform rest and stress Cardiology scans, conduct quality control, and assist physicians with report generation. This per diem role requires involvement across rotating sites including Trumbull, Fairfield, and Milford.

Minimum 2 years nuclear cardiology experience is required, along with Nuclear Medicine license/certification and BLS. Per diem hours apply, with duties spanning image acquisition and data interpretation support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Nuclear Medicine Cardiology experience required.
• Nuclear Medicine license/certification (NMTCB or ARRT) and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform camera quality controls per manufacturers’ recommendations.
• Handle laboratory and biohazard wastes.
• Acquire data and position camera as requested by physicians.
• Generate reports and assist physicians with data interpretation.
