Job summary

MaineHealth's Lincoln Hospital is seeking an experienced RN II for the Ambulatory Care Unit on a per diem, day shift basis. The unit supports perioperative care across pre-op, phase I and phase II, with a diverse case mix.

The RN II demonstrates autonomy, coordinates with anesthesia and surgical teams, and ensures high‑quality patient outcomes. Minimum one year RN experience and state RN licensure required; BSN preferred and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure required. BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• One year of recent RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Care for perioperative patients across pre-op, phase I and phase II.
• Coordinate with anesthesia, surgeons and other hospital units during all phases of care.
