Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Neonatal ICU RN for a per diem day shift at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. The RN will perform thorough neonatal assessments, monitor patients, administer medications, and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Applicants must hold an active NJ RN license (or Multistate with NJ endorsement), BLS and NRP certifications; BSN preferred with NICU experience.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing or Mulitstate License with NJ endorsement.
• BLS certification and NRP certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; NICU experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments and detect clinical changes early.
• Administer medications and treatments with evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity and safety.
• Support families with education and continuity of care information.
