RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. The role involves comprehensive assessments, evidence-based nursing care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, acute care setting.

Must hold NJ RN license, BLS/NRP/STABLE, and EPIC experience, with 7a-7:30p shifts and rotating weekends. Strong preference for a Bachelor's in Nursing and prior NICU exposure; benefits include PTO, health,

Qualifications

Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
Current American Heart Association BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred; prior acute care or critical care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes early, intervening and advocating for patients.
Administer safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to support timely, well-coordinated care decisions.
Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately for next steps in care.
Document accurately in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity and safety.
