Qualifications

• Graduate from a Diagnostic Radiology Technology program is required.
• NYS DOH Licensed in Diagnostic Radiology Technology with IV Contrast Injection certification is required.
• ARRT-MRI Certification is required.
• Current BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic MRI exams, position and transfer patients, and operate MRI equipment with proper safety and immobilization techniques.
• Assist in safety protocols and physician procedures, and supervise areas of instruction as needed.
• May serve as acting supervisor in absence of supervisor or senior technologist.
• Teach radiology students and hospital personnel according to department objectives.
