Job summary

The Opportunity Alliance is hiring Relief Crisis Intervention Specialists for the Mobile Crisis Response Program in Portland, ME. This per diem role provides crisis assessment, immediate intervention, and stabilization in the field or by Crisis Telephone Response, with a focus on trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care.

Applicants should have an Associate’s Degree with related experience; MHRT/CSP certification or ability to obtain within 30 days is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree and two years of relevant experience required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in related fields.
• MHRT/CSP certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis assessment and immediate intervention.
• Coordinate with individuals, families and supports for crisis stabilization.
• Advocate for needed mental health and related services.
• Maintain communication within crisis services and partner agencies.
