Job summary

AMHC in Houlton, Maine seeks a Full-Time Mobile Crisis Service Provider to join our Crisis Response Team. You will respond to crisis in diverse settings 24/7, including homes, shelters, clinics, and police stations, delivering immediate intervention and stabilization.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on trauma-informed, client-centered care and collaboration with partners to ensure continuity of services across Aroostook County.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 by contract
• MHRT-CSP certification via one of the stated pathways
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• CPR/First Aid, MANDT, Naloxone training; Peer Support 101 training provided on hire

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis evaluations, intervention, and stabilization to individuals and families.
• Coordinate crisis response with law enforcement, first responders, and community agencies.
• Participate in co-response with law enforcement for crisis assessments and protective custody evaluations.
• Develop crisis intervention plans and educate communities about available resources.
• Maintain timely documentation of interventions and follow-up actions.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision.

Education

Associate's degree or 30 college credits
