Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking Per Diem Mental Health Technicians to support a therapeutic milieu and provide direct care, welfare, safety and security for patients with emotional and/or psychological disorders, in collaboration with the treatment team.

Responsibilities include escorting patients to activities, transporting to appointments, de-escalating aggression, and assisting with initial screenings and crisis plans, with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of five shifts per

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and CPI Certification.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to work, meals, recreation, and education activities and supervise as needed.
• Transport patients to appointments and maintain safety with close observation.
• De-escalate aggression, use active listening, and support clinical assessments.
• Assess needs for clothing, linens and personal hygiene supplies; supervise tasks.
