STR Bucks is seeking an Entry Level Behavioral Health Technician in Levittown, PA. The role supports clients with functional needs, maintains a therapeutic environment, and documents client records while coordinating with the clinical team.

Position is Per Diem; must commit to 2 days per month and attend in-person trainings as required. Prior experience in mental health or substance use settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, drug and alcohol certification preferred or willingness to complete requirements within orientation period.
• Requires 2+ years experience working with clients with substance abuse and/or mental health issues and 1 year supervision experience.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates with clinical team to determine and select appropriate interventions based on clients' needs.
• Engages clients in milieu and activities throughout the day, including group settings.
• Prompts clients to complete ADLs and maintains room hygiene checks.
• Conducts client drug screening, pregnancy tests, and breathalyzers as necessary.
• Promotes timely meals and provides supervision during meals.
