Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking Per Diem Mental Health Technicians at Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital to provide direct patient care and supportive supervision. You will work with the treatment team to implement plans, document behavior and deliver crisis intervention when necessary.

The role focuses on maintaining a therapeutic milieu, ensuring safety, and assisting with assessments and screenings as part of a coordinated care approach in a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CPI Certified.
• Must be able to complete 5 day Hospital Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to work, meals, recreation, education activities and supervise as needed.
• Transport patients to appointments and monitor safety and security.
• De-escalate aggression, use active listening and maintain appropriate boundaries.
• Ensure patient needs for clothing, linens and hygiene supplies are met.
