Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certificate 1 Medical Assistant Certificate required.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and serves as a communication resource; asks questions and relays information to providers.
• Greets patients, escorts to exam rooms, obtains vitals, and assists with EKGs, injections, phlebotomy and general support.
• Assists with procuring medical records and ensures proper patient identification in records and EMR.
• Prepares and assembles records per policy and handles requests for patient information as required.
