Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. Plymouth Family Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide high-quality, team-based patient care in a busy primary care setting in Plymouth, MA.

You will support clinical and administrative operations, ensuring smooth flow during visits and accurate documentation in the EHR. The role involves vital signs, phlebotomy, immunizations (MA certified), and assisting with exams and routine procedures, with emphasis on patient safety and efficient care delivery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• MA certification preferred, or RN/EMT/Phlebotomy certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient over the course of their visit: facilitate timely flow and inform patient/provider of delays.
• Enter and document visit details in the EHR for accurate billing and orders.
• Perform MA duties: measure vitals, EKGs, point-of-care testing, phlebotomy, immunizations (certified MAs).
• Coordinate care with the team to meet population health goals and outreach needs.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Medical Assistant Certification preferred

Registered Nursing Assistant certification preferred

EMT Basic Certification preferred

Phlebotomy Certification preferred
