Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant II serves as a role model, providing support, training and sharing knowledge with other Medical Assistants, MA student externs and Practice Assistants.
• Identifies and resolves OSHA compliance issues, audits and maintains point of care testing and tracks test results.
• Greets patients and serves as a communication resource, asks questions, collects information, and communicates to providers.
• Greets patients, escorts to exam rooms, obtains vitals, performs basic procedures and assists providers; maintains quality control standards.
• Assists with procuring medical records and updates patient records in the EMR; assembles records per policy.
