Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Primary Care teams in the Greater Boston area. You will support high quality, safe clinical care, taking vital signs, documenting history in the EMR, and providing patient information to improve satisfaction.

The role supports collaboration with providers to boost efficiency and patient experience, with per-diem shifts including weekends. BLS and MA certification preferred; experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• At least five years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must have Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA).

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering high quality, safe clinical care as part of a clinical team.
• Take patient vital signs and document medical history in the EMR.
• Provide patients and families with medical information to support satisfaction.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care and provider efficiency.
