GoHealth Urgent Care in North East, MD seeks a Medical Assistant for per diem coverage. You will support urgent care providers with patient intake, vital signs, specimen collection, and room preparation. The role includes front desk duties, charting, and ensuring efficient patient flow.

Requires a High School Diploma and a Medical Assisting Program (preferred); BLS certification and MA credentials are expected at hire or shortly after. Competitive hourly pay and ongoing training are offered.

Formación

• Proficiency in typing and basic computer use.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Experience in a medical front desk environment is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients and verify insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and process co-pays.
• Perform vital signs and assist providers with examinations.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain medical supplies.
