Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support examination and treatment under urgent care providers. You will handle check-in, vital signs, draw blood samples, prep exam rooms, and coordinate with providers to ensure smooth patient flow.

Required are a High School Diploma and completion of a Medical Assisting program; BLS certification at hire; CMA/CCMA/RMA/NCMC/NRCMA options. Prior MA or front desk experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, collect required paperwork and insurance details.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments for centers.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for examination.
• Draw and collect blood samples for lab analysis.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during exams.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up with patients.
