UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care, LLC is hiring a Medical Assistant to support urgent care operations across Pennsylvania and nearby states. The role involves checking in patients, taking vital signs, drawing blood when needed, and preparing exam rooms for provider assessments.

Responsibilities include processing co-pays, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with specialists. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or MA certification and BLS, with prior experience in a fast-paced clinical

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ years MA experience or MA certifications at hire.
• CPOE certification required within 2 weeks if MA certification is not obtained at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire.

Mansioni

• Register patients and verify insurance documentation and eligibility.
• Process co-pays and schedule patient appointments.
• Coordinate provider referrals to specialists.
• Perform vital signs and document in patient chart.
• Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies; maintain cleanliness.
