Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year related experience without certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Basic medical terminology and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive patient care under supervision in an assigned clinical area.
• Perform duties at MA I level; higher levels may administer injectables and advanced tasks.
• Supportive duties including patient safety, comfort and documentation as directed.
