Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, through Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, seeks Medical Assistants at levels I–III. Roles include supervised patient care, ensuring safety, and assisting physicians. MA II adds injections and advanced tasks; MA III serves as a resource and performs high-level procedures under supervision.

Pay is hourly ($16–$32) with a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) contributions, and incentive programs. Requires HS diploma, MA program, BLS, medical terminology, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• No experience with MA cert OR 1 year MA experience without cert.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Basic medical terminology and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive patient care under supervision (MA I).
• Ensure patient safety and comfort per standards (MA I).
• Perform delegated tasks as directed by physician or RN (MA I).
• Administer injectables and advanced clinical tasks (MA II).
• Serve as a resource for less experienced staff (MA III).
