Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking Medical Assistants at levels I-III to support patient care under licensed professionals. The role includes increasing responsibilities by level with MA I, II, and III duties and required certifications.

Pay ranges hourly from $16.00 to $32.00, with a comprehensive benefits package and advancement opportunities within a nationally recognized health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year related experience without certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic medical/nursing terminology.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care under supervision.
• Assist with ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Perform delegated tasks as directed by physician or RN.
• Include all MA I duties and, for MA II, II/III tasks as applicable.
