Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of related experience without certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Basic medical/nursing terminology and computer proficiency are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive patient care under supervision of a Physician, RN or LVN.
• Administer injectables and perform advanced clinical tasks for MA II/III as qualified.
• Perform duties for MA I, with increasing responsibilities for MA II/III.
• Serve as a resource for less experienced staff and support clinical team.
